This year’s ski season may be approaching its end, but that doesn’t mean you can’t think about all the skiing to come in future years.

A new resort development in Breckenridge, Colorado, is hoping to entice those who enjoy the powder out west with perks you won’t find anywhere else. The Finale Community is being built on the last land open for development in the Rocky Mountain ski town, and it’s just launched sales of its Independence Townhomes, the first part of a rollout that’s set to include condos, ski chalets, single-family homes, and a luxury hotel.

“We are thrilled to introduce Finale as a last-of-its-kind opportunity for prospective buyers to own a newly constructed home in the heart of Breckenridge, and the Independence Townhomes represent the first step ii bringing this vision to life,” Graham Frank, the developer and one of two managing members of the Finale Development Partnership, said in a statement. “Together with our partners, Finale has been thoughtfully designed to deliver turnkey luxury living while establishing meaningful experiences for future generations.”

The Independence Townhomes encompass 16 three- to five-bedroom properties, ranging in price from $3.9 million to more than $6 million. Located in downtown Breckenridge, right across from the BreckConnect Gondola, the cabin-chic townhomes were designed by DTJ Design, with interiors from the Colorado-based Styleworks. Inside, the abodes feature lots of natural wood and stone details, with sleek kitchens and fireplace-warmed bedrooms.

While ski bums may jump at the chance to own a new build with superior access to some of Colorado’s best skiing, the Independence Townhomes are offering another perk to sweeten the deal: two lifetime Epic Passes, valid for up to 60 years. The passes are connected to only the founding owner of the property, meaning successive owners will not be offered this benefit. However, since Finale wants the townhomes to be multigenerational residences, there’s a clause that would allow an owner to designate another member of their family as the holder of the lifetime pass.

Along with the Epic Passes, you can also buy ownership at the nearby Grand Colorado hotel, located at the base of Peak 8. There, you’d gain access to a private slopeside ski locker and the full-service spa and fitness center, which includes a cold plunge, steam room, sauna, and more. Even if you don’t fancy yourself a fan of black diamonds, there’s something for you here.
